3/27/07 - Captions to come........Our home, Marina Badalona -
November, 2006 to April 2007
Marc, Amy, Anne, Juliana and Cassie - the terrors
of Badalona. Conspicuously missing is Ben, Amy's brother.
Right, there's Ben, with his head on Juliana's
lap. Hmmmmm.
Our first friends in Badalona, Rafa, Mari and
their son Toni. They found out just before we left that
they are expecting another baby in December!
Congratulations.
Mari's sister Isa and her son Xavi live right
downstairs.
Marina Badalona seen from the northern corner.
Our dock was right in front of the Capitaneria building you seen
in the center back of the picture.
They had some awesome heeling surfaces at the
marina.
The REAL terror of Dock A was Coco, Mar and
Roland's little dog. Boy, could he bark!
Dock A. We were three quarters of the way
down, on the right.
The Three Wise Men's ship that arrived on January
8th.
Me and Mar, our neighbor on White House. We miss
you guys!
Waiting for the bus on the first day of school.
Juliana had fallen and sported a nice big scab on
her chin for her first day of school.
The local liquor was manufactured right down the
Passeig Maritim from Marina Badalona. We had all sorts of
names that we called it, as you can imagine.
Our neighbors Mar and Roland, on White House, and
Valentin, on IsMarch.
Marina Badalona, with our three tower landmark,
as seen from the bridge crossing the train tracks than ran just
west of the Marina.
The Captain's office, seen from the sea wall.
Joe poses with Kevyn and Cassie while we helped
Toni celebrate his second birthday.
Santa bought all the girls rollerblades for
Christmas. It is a lot harder than it looks!
Our neighbors Rob and Cathy on Twixter, a Lagoon
44, leaving Badalona bound for Mallorca.
The girls had endless fun dressing up Roland on
numerous occasions.
Taco party for our neighbors and my Spanish
class. Pasqual, from Rome, Mar, and Nelson, from Lisbon.
Pasqual and Viveka, from Sweeden.
Someone misjudged the height of this bridge while
we were waiting to be hauled out at Port Forum. We sure
are glad this wasn't us!
