Cassie's Poems

09/13/2008 - Cassie's Zia Poem

Normal Version

Zia sails over oceans bright.
Intertwined with water in moonlight.
Ambling through the dark midnight.

Wierd Version

Zia's hull is watertight.
I eat spaghetti on her all night.
Always sailing like Snow White.

09/13/2008 - Cassie's Calvert Poem

Calvert School is cuckoo.
Always learning something new.
Loving all the things we do.
Very easy - a breakthrough.
Every lesson is like dog-doo.
Really awesome (a bit untrue).
Totally weird, but really cool.
School friend not by my side.
Completely lunch! (I like deep fried).
How are ants magnified?
Oodles of fun all world wide.
On top of Mount Everest, on the seaside.
Loopy, poopy, snoopy and wide.

11/28/2007 - Cassie's Istanbul Acrostic

Islamic müezzin calls everyone to prayer.
Sultan and commoners crowd the mosque everywhere.
Topkapi Palace, where royal families reside.
Asian on one bank, European the other side.
Noisy with cars and people cavorting around.
Bazaar aisles filled with people, smells, sights and sounds.
Unique city, divided by the Bosphorus.
Lovely people, who are being so kind to us.
